With games like MGS4, Uncharted, and Killzone 2, it's not hard to see that a high graphical standard is very achievable on the ps3.

And secondly, not only did the MGS bundle sell out and only now just got restocked, but a loss is a loss regardless. So even if it didn't blow the 360 out, they still won the month. And not by tiny margins like the 360 did the two months they won out of 2008 thus far.

Someone will always want you out of business. If you're in competition with someone, and you're better than them someway, somehow, then yeah more often than not, they'd like nothing more than you gone.
That's just a fact of life. Not just game companies, but for the most part all of us want our own competitors gone when we are striving for something.
That's why I never bought it for 360. And even with the added features, I'm not buying it for my ps3 either. This game just doesn't appeal to me

Not every franchise that was more affiliated with sony has outsold on the ps3.
Like for example. Worldwide, DMC 4 is only selling a TINY bit better on ps3. Worldwide, GTA 4 holds a lead on the 360 over the ps3 (i think. I haven't gone over the numbers lately).
Playstationlifestyle.net usually gives the ps3 fans good information. Regardless of whether it's good or bad one thing is certain, their info usually has some sort of truth and/or weight behind them.

They do that purposely. And we all know why.
They fail partially because movie videogames aren't true to their roots.
They add extra characters, extra story aspects, and sometimes even unknown protagonists. In other words, they normally fail because they aren't canonical.
